Royez Education are currently recruiting for a Secondary tutor who can confidently support with Core subjects to prepare KS3 and KS4 students for their exams. This can involve working with school settings, home settings and online. You will be working 1:1 with different students who will have varying needs and abilities, there is the opportunity to work with 2 students equating to full time work. Tuition will take place in the Redcar and Cleveland area.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
– Qualified Teacher or Previous experience of tutoring to KS4 Level
– Have SEMH experience within a school or relavent role
– Confident in supporting behaviours that challenge with good de-escalation techniques
– Effective at planning, prepartion and delivering
– Available for part time or full time work
– Able to provide references covering 2 years of most recent employment/education
– Holds an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to complete
Roles & responsibilities for tutors includes:
- Planning and delivering tailored programmes which complement ongoing class work, learning objectives and assessment plans along with the class teacher
- Delivering tuition face-to-face or online (or both) and adapt the content, style, format of the tuition to ensure the most effective results are achieved
- Building strong relationships with pupils and school contacts through session delivery, weekly review meetings, tuition progress reports and feedback
